Let alone liking him , first of all I doubt whether such character exists in real life . Not only kabir but Preethi also doesn’t exist in this era .
Though the film shows him in bad light with regards to drinking , sleeping around and has lot of lot of anger management issues, we do have some points to like his character. ( that’s why I guess Arjun reddy was remade in Tamil and Hindi)
If you have noticed Kabir’s tonality towards preethi , it’s always soft , soothing and accommodating . No matter how angry he is , when it comes to preethi , he just melts down. Usually all these happen in a guy s life and when he finds out that the gal is pregnant with another man’s baby , this slut shaming generation immediately accuses the gal to be a slut along with other names in the list . But this guy maintains the same soft tone even he comes to know that she is pregnant and tells his friend that “ is pregnancy the problem .. she is my girl “ . As far as my experience and experiences of my friends go, I don’t think such a guy exists in this social media era .
When he gets drunk and operates , he gets caught and his brother does everything to rescue him . The statement which moved me a lot is “ the only thing I am loyal to is my profession .. I can’t lie” and he walks out . There was sheer honesty in his voice and I think that kind of loyalty and honesty is not there in youth right now . They go to any heights and stoop to any lows to retain their position ( ofcourse in negative ways ) and kabir being honest is the gem of a quality I must say .
During the funeral , he asks people not to mourn but just celebrate a person s presence by playing her favourite song . How many of you talk to your dad like that? How many of you will want to celebrate your grand Ma s presense after she is gone ? How many grandmas stay with their sons and grandsons ? My mother in law stays in a city and my sister in law lives in Canada . Am sure her daughter will not celebrate her grand Ma ‘ s presense because she has never felt and will never feel the presense in the first place . Family is split up and each being in a country, I don’t think our future generations will ever know how it is to eat grandma’s food .

The both ladies in question lead a very successful life with their respective partners after going through unsuccessful relationships just like other normal human beings . Still then , they are left at no mercy and tomorrow one more celebrity will be brutally trolled . Relationship is no more a relationship now. It is either a subject for trolling or passing phase just to get over with boring lectures or IT work. Nobody wants to be serious. Nobody wants to get married . All they want is to just loaf around and here is kabir Singh who doesn’t move on for years together and destructs whatever he built for himself for one single woman, which is again a rarity.
I would again say that such guy doesn’t exist . But if he does, I guess he will be the man any woman wants despite all his flaws and that’s why it smashed all the records both in Telugu and Hindi .
